Second Switzerland-Sweden Call for R&D Project Outlines
Second bilateral Call for R&D Project Outlines was launched on September 25, 2013.
As a part of the Swiss-Swedish Innovation Initiative (SWII), Switzerland & Sweden has jointly announced the second bilateral “Switzerland-Sweden Call for R&D Project Outlines” within the EUREKA and EUROSTARS programs.
The EUREKA framework is the leading European platform for industry-led, applied, close-to-market research (www.eurekanetwork.org).
Aim of the second Call
The aim of the second Call has been to facilitate:
- Funding of market oriented Swiss-Swedish R&D projects
- Creation of research consortiums consisting of Swiss-Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises, large industry, academia and research institutes
Focus and Deadline for the second Call
The second bilateral Call was open for all topics, but focuses on the development of innovative products and services within 1.) innovative manufacturing 2.) software and life-sciences - with a focus on digital health solutions. Project outlines are welcome between September 25, 2013 and January 10, 2014.
In support of the second Call, special information, matchmaking and workshop events is being arranged during autumn 2013 and spring 2014. The second Call was launched on the 25 September 2013, during the SWII conference "Innovative Manufacturing Networking Conference (IMNC)", at the EMPA Academy, in Dübendorf.
