The Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce organized the Swedish Swiss Business Forum with some 170 guests. A panel discussion hosted Ewa Björling, Minister for Trade Sweden, Charlotte Brogren, Director General VINNOVA, Joe Hogan, CEO & President ABB, Riet Cadonau, CEO & President Kaba, Andrei Postoaca, CEO and Founder Clintelica AB, Hansueli Märki, Chariman SSCC.
In conjunction with the Business Forum Charlotte Brogren, Director General VINNOVA, Franziska Schwarz, Vice Director and Head of International Innovation Cooperation at SERI and Arlette Frener, Scientist to the Director CTI met in Zurich to discuss extended research collaboration between Swiss and Swedish companies, universities and research institutions.
During the fruitful discussion several ideas and topics were lifted as especially interesting between Switzerland and Sweden and with a potential to be carried out within the Swiss-Swedish Innovation Initiative (SWII). Besides medtech, biotech, software and manufacturing, also Ambience Assisted Living (AAL), energy efficiency were highlighted as interesting.
Both Ms. Brogren and Ms. Schwarz expressed their dedicated support for SWII.
